I just had to post this video after watching it over at Rick Smith’s Blog & I think you’ll understand why after seeing it.

It’s a magnificent thing: The only newly-originating life in the universe that comes in the image of God is Man. The only newly-originating life in the universe that lasts forever is Man.

This is an awesome thing.

And, as everyone knows, that reverence is not shared by our new President, over whom we have rejoiced.

He is trapped and blind in a culture of deceit. On the 36th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, he released this statement,

We are reminded that this decision not only protects women’s health and reproductive freedom, but stands for a broader principle: that government should not intrude on our most private family matters.

To which I say:

* No, Mr. President, you are not protecting women; you are authorizing the destruction of 500,000 little women every year.
* No, Mr. President, you are not protecting reproductive freedom; you are authorizing the destruction of freedom for one million little human beings every year.
* No, Mr. President, killing our children is killing our children no matter how many times you call it a private family matter. You may say it is a private family matter over and over and over, and still they are dead. And we killed them. And you, would have it remain legal.

Mr. President, some of us wept for joy at your inauguration. And we pledge that we will pray for you.

We have hope in our sovereign God.

It’s been awhile since my last post & hopefully I’ll be finishing up the new design soon. In fact there is a series of posts that should be coming live soon that I think you’ll enjoy. But, in the mean time I saw this and laughed. At first I thought maybe it was just the day I had yesterday that made me laugh at this. But after watching it again I’ve come to this conclusion: It Was Just Funny! In fact when I first saw it someone poked their head into my office and accused me of liking country music. Which I suppose that it’s time for a confession “I actually don’t mind country music”.

So in the mean time…

I just cleared through the posts in Google Reader and caught up on the blogs that I enjoy reading and realized that i’ve neglected to post anything here as of late. In fact I logged in to see 10 posts that still sit there unpublished. I have no intentions on publishing those posts since alot has transpired since the fingers graced hit those keys. There have been alot of changes as of late in the Anderson Household. Amazing changes, but with those have came some adjustments and lets just say that I’m finally getting settled in to the new schedule & can’t wait to bring some actual life back to this little place I call home.

A question to leave with those few readers that venture this way. In creating my reading list for next year what is the one book that has had the most lasting impression in your life to date?

It’s been awhile and I’ve honestly missed this place. As stupid as it sounds i just wasn’t liking the design so much that it was actually pushing me to not post. So here I enter with a “temporary” design that just feels better and will hopefully renew the fun that it started with. Besides life has been to good not to share. So if you’re here and reading this then check back for more changes and alot more updates.

I gots something brewing like a fresh pot of coffee. Only better! (if that’s possible)
